3 players you might not know played for India when Australia last visited India for a Test series

Although India and Australia play very often, it needs to be noted that it was way back in 2017 that both teams were involved in a Test series in India. It is almost after six years since this clash will repeat on Indian soil. Australia will visit India for a four-match Test series in Feb-Mar this year. Since 2017, India has had a lot of changes in playing XI. To provide context, at that time, Rohit Sharma was not a regular in Tests. On that note, here, we take a look at three players you might not know played for India when Australia last visited India for a Test series.

1) Abhinav Mukund

Abhinav Mukund is an exceptional performer when it comes to FC Cricket. Hence, it was not a surprise that he got a chance with Team India. However, he was unable to leave an impression and hence, had to drop out of the XI.

Mukund played in the second Test of that series in 2017. While he scored a zero in the first innings, in the next innings, he made 16 runs. Although India won that game, Mukund was left out for the next fixture.
