Ashish Nehra has confirmed that Robin Minz might not play in IPL 2024. He was recently involved in a bike accident and might not recover in time. It will be a big blow for Gujarat Titans because Minz was one of the wicket-keeper choices for the management. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three players whom Gujarat Titans could sign as a replacement for Robin Minz.
1) Luvnith Sisodia
Luvnith Sisodia would be an interesting option for GT to consider. He would be a decent replacement for Robin Minz. The Karnataka cricketer has been in RCB before but could not make his debut.
An aggressive left-handed wicket-keeper batter, Sisodia is a genuine opener. He would be a good choice to be the backup for Wriddhiman Saha if the veteran is not in great form. In the recently held regional T20 competition in Karnataka, he was in good touch.
2) Sarfaraz Khan
Sarfaraz Khan is one of the players whom Gujarat Titans could sign as a replacement for Robin Minz. Some reports suggest that Sarfaraz is already on the list as the possible replacement for Minz.
It needs to be noted that Sarfaraz kept the wickets in a few games for Delhi last season. Now, his confidence as a batter has improved. He also has the skills to open the batting although his strength is playing the spinners. GT can make use of his recent India experience to add value to the side.
3) Harvik Desai
Gujarat Titans can sign Saurashtra cricketer Harvik Desai for IPL 2024. He is a local man and has also been in good form.
Harvik is a fine wicket-keeper and was one of the highest run-getters in the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Harvik can play in the top-order and will be a good backup for Saha.
