Ravindra Jadeja bowls for the first time in nets after his injury
Ravindra Jadeja is getting into the full flow ahead of the all-important Border Gavaskar Trophy. The all-rounder was seen bowling in the nets for the first time since his injury. He is all set to make his comeback through the four-Test series against Australia.
Jadeja injured himself during a water activity on Team India’s day off in the Asia Cup 2022. The all-rounder was enjoying his time on the ski board, on which he slipped and twisted his knee. He was then ruled out of the tournament and was forced to undergo surgery.
He then was ruled out of the T20 World Cup 2022 and all the games of India last year followed by a series against Sri Lanka and New Zealand this year. The all-rounder has now been named in the Indian squad for the Border Gavaskar Trophy. However, ahead of that, he’ll turn up for Saurashtra in the Ranji Trophy to prove his match fitness.
He recently posted a video of himself bowling in the nets and was looking in fine rhythm and hitting the right areas and lengths. He posted the video with the caption: “Left arm around #priority,”
