Will Jacks is one of the players who can replace Phil Salt as the new England ODI opener. He was not included for the Champions Trophy.
Will is a good opener and can be groomed for the ODI format. This is the right time for the side to invest in him, keeping the 2027 ODI World Cup in mind.
3) Jamie Smith
The 24-year-old has great potential to do well for England in the future. Therefore, he is also on this list of possible options for England.
He has been with the England side for a while now. England can also plan for their future white-ball wicket-keeper through him.
