1) Naveen-Ul-Haq
PBKS needs someone who can do a good job in the middle overs. An option at the death will also be useful for the franchise.
In this regard, Naveen will be ideal for the side. If Naveen is in the playing XI, PBKS can consider playing Kuldeep Sen for his raw pace.
2) Adil Rashid can replace Lockie Ferguson at Punjab Kings for IPL 2025
Yuzvendra Chahal has been in poor form in IPL 2025. That is a big concern for the side going forward in the tournament.
In this regard, having an experienced option like Adil Rashid in the squad could help the side. With him bowling at the other end, Chahal could pick form.
3) Matt Henry (if fit)
If he is fit, Henry will be ideal to be a part of the Punjab Kings side. The powerplay bowling would become more effective for the side.
Of course, in the middle overs, Henry may not be that reliable. However, his impact as a new ball bowler could give good gains to the side.
