1) Venkatesh Iyer

KKR is likely to release Venkatesh Iyer. It will be interesting to see where he goes next season. You could tell that Delhi needs one more experienced Indian batter. In this regard, Iyer can be a suitable fit for the side. He could operate at No.3 while having Karun at No.4 and KL-Abishek opening the batting.

2) Mohammed Shami is one of the players from other teams that Delhi Capitals can target for IPL 2026

Mukesh Kumar and T Natarajan could not set the stage on fire in IPL 2025. Therefore, Delhi needs an experienced Indian seamer. Shami is likely to leave SRH, and hence, he could return to his former side. Delhi would like to have a new-ball setup of Shami and Starc.

3) Rachin Ravindra

Both Faf du Plessis and JFM failed as openers for DC. Therefore, the management could look at other options. Rachin Ravindra will be a fine fit for the franchise. The Delhi pitch will also suit his strengths.
