Most expect RCB to use their three RTM Cards on the likes of Mohammed Siraj, Will Jacks, Glenn Maxwell and may be even Faf du Plessis. However, not all things happen as per plan in the auctions. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three players RCB could surprisingly use the RTM Card for in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions.
1) Akash Deep
Akash Deep’s name is likely to come late into the auctions. By then, RCB and the other teams would have had a decent idea of the players whom they must target.
RCB might be in need of some good pacers and therefore, they could cash in on Akash Deep with the RTM Card. If utilized well, he can be a good enforcer in the middle overs. Hence, he is a part of the list.
2) Mahipal Lomror
Mahipal Lomror is one of the players RCB could surprisingly use the RTM Card for in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. It is difficult to get a left-handed middle-order batter who is good against spin.
Mahipal Lomror is decent in this regard and has already played a few seasons at RCB. In fact, he has done well, as well. Plus, he also offers a bit of off-spin. All these factors could prompt RCB to use their RTM Card on him, of course, depending on the situation of the team on the auction-day.
3) Manoj Bhandage
Manoj Bhandage has not made his IPL debut and it could be a risk to use the RTM Card on him. However, in the hitting form that he is in, it may not be a great idea to loose him.
Especially since he is a local boy, it is necessary that the franchise gets him back. Manoj might also want to play at RCB because he will get to operate at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in half the season.
