Ruturaj Gaikwad is the captain of CSK and he is also the skipper of India C in Duleep Trophy 2024. Surely, he would have an eye on a few cricketers whom he could hire for his IPL franchise in the next auctions. It is also a chance for some of the players to impress Rutu, although they are playing in a different format. Here, we take a look at the list of three players from Ruturaj Gaikwad’s India C whom CSK can target for IPL 2025.

1) Abishek Porel
With MS Dhoni close to retirement, CSK needs to identify a replacement for him. Here is where Abishek Porel would be a near-perfect choice for CSK.
As seen in IPL 2024 and IPL 2024, Abishek is capable of producing those high-impact cameos. He can also play in different batting positions. Mainly, he is a left-hander, which adds variety to the batting unit.
2) Manav Suthar
Manav Suthar is one of the players from Ruturaj Gaikwad’s India C whom CSK can target for IPL 2025. He played for Gujarat Titans in IPL 2024 but did not get a lot of chances.
Nevertheless, with CSK trying to establish a spin attack for the future, they can target Manav Suthar. Quality spinners are needed at Chepauk and Manav is someone who is good at his job. He can also be handy with the bat. Therefore, CSK could target him.
3) Baba Indrajith
Baba Indrajith is exactly yet to take down the door in T20s but there are skills in him to do that. CSK could take a bet on him, especially also because he hails from Tamil Nadu.
Baba is quite experienced and can handle himself in the top or the middle order. At least as a backup, Baba must be a target for CSK in IPL 2025 Auctions.
