As per reports, Parthiv Patel will join as the batting mentor of Gujarat Titans. Till now, he was associated with the Mumbai Indians. He would be a good appointment for GT because Parthiv hails from GT and knows the home pitch very well. His scouting skills will also help the team. Here, we take a look at the list of three Mumbai Indians batters whom Parthiv Patel could target for Gujarat Titans.

1) Ishan Kishan
Ishan Kishan is unlikely to be retained by Mumbai Indians. Many franchise will chase the player and Gujarat Titans is a team that could go all the way for the cricketer. The team did not have a reliable wicket-keeper in IPL 2024. Saha was not in good form and it did not help the squad.
Ishan enjoys a fine relationship with Shubman Gill. This could play a big role in getting Ishan to join the side. He will be the ideal partner for Gill at the top of the order whil Sai Sudharsan can play at No.3.
2) Nehal Wadhera
Nehal Wadhera is one of the Mumbai Indians batters whom Parthiv Patel could target for Gujarat Titans. If GT cannot retain or buy back Rahul Tewatia, Nehal will be the perfect choice to join the team in place of the Haryana all-rounder.
Nehal has already shown his skills against spin bowling. He further can develop his own spin bowling. All these factors will help GT in the future. Hence, Parthiv could target the youngster.
3) Vishnu Vinod
The Kerala batter did not play IPL 2024 due to an injury. Harvik Desai replaced him in the squad. Parthiv Patel could target either of these players for GT.
Both have decent experience and can keep wickets. Vishnu might be a more tempting choice because of his ability to act as a finisher.
