With the Mega Auctions happening, IPL 2024 winners KKR have no choice but to rebuild their squad. The owners try to maintain some common factors between their sister franchises. They could use the ongoing MLC to find some players for the next season. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three Los Angeles Knight Riders players in MCL 2024 whom KKR might target for IPL 2025.
1) Adam Zampa
Suyash Sharma could not step up for KKR in IPL 2024. While they were lucky not to rely on a leg-spinner, this requirement will surely come up in the next seasons.
KKR usually has two overseas spinners, one as a backup for Sunil Narine. They can target someone like Adam Zampa, who comes in with a lot of experience to the side.
2) David Miller
David Miller is one of the Los Angeles Knight Riders players in MCL 2024 whom KKR might target for IPL 2025. GT might release Miller because he did not have a great season in 2024.
With him in the auctions, a number of teams would target him as the finisher. KKR can also try because they could need a good backup for Andre Russell and Rinku Singh. On his day, Miller can be better than these both players, as well. Hence, KKR can target the experienced cricketer.
3) Spencer Johnson
It is not sure if Mitchell Starc will play in yet another edition of IPL. While fitness is a topic, Starc may not get the salary that he got in IPL 2024. Therefore, KKR will have to scout for some alternatives in the coming auctions.
Spencer Johnson got some games for GT in IPL 2024. However, he was not able to retain his place. Nevertheless, he is a talented cricketer and will surely do well in the coming seasons. KKR could try him in IPL 2025 as the left-arm pacer.
