1) Mumbai Indians
It is a surprise that Mark Boucher still has his job at MI. He had a terrible outing in IPL 2024 despite Mumbai Indians having a solid season.
While the franchise may stick with Boucher for one more season, if he fails, MI will look at other options. Sammy can be a tempting choice in this regard.
2) Kolkata Knight Riders
KKR is one of the IPL teams that could target Daren Sammy in future as Head Coach after he won CPL 2024. Chandrakant Pandit might be relieved if he has a bad season. The credit for IPL 2024 success is mainly for Gautam Gambhir.
