3 Indian batsmen who might score a century in T20 World Cup 2022

Indian batting line up has got a lot of class and is well suited to the Australian conditions

Hitting a century in T20 cricket is quite tough anyway, but in the bigger grounds of Australia, it’s going to be even tougher because there will not be too many opportunities to hit sixes, however the Indian batting line-up has got so much class that one should not be surprised if a couple of Indian batsmen end up scoring hundreds in the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022.

Here are the 3 Indian batsmen who might score a century in T20 World Cup 2022 –

KL Rahul

KL Rahul is someone who has got a very high chance of scoring a hundred in T20 World Cup 2022, because he opens the batting and can play full 20 overs on his day. Rahul, in the past, has shown that he is the kind of batsman who can sustain strokeplay over a period of time and isn’t just content with short cameos.

Rahul scored a couple of hundreds in the last IPL as well and in the last 6 T20Is that he has played, the Indian vice-captain has scored 4 fifties.

Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli has looked in much better flow with the bat since the beg inning of the Asia Cup and his knock against Afghanistan, which although came in a dead rubber, still remains one of the most memorable knocks played by an Indian batsmen in T20Is.

Since Virat Kohli is a very good player of fast bowling and has got a wide range of shots, he mght get to the three figure mark if he comes to the crease early and bats long enough in one of the games of T20 World Cup 2022.

Suyakumar Yadav

Although Suryakumar Yadav bats at no. 4 for India in T20I cricket and doesn’t always get the opportunity to face a lot of overs, he is blessed with the ability to accelerate from ball one. Suryakumar is the kind of batsman who is good enough to score a hundred in a T20I game, even if he remains at the crease for just 14 or 15 overs.

This, however, will be the first time that Suryakumar will be playing in Australian conditions where the wickets will be bouncier and it’s a challenge that he will have to tackle.

I write a bit on cricket and I am more interested in technical and tactical side of the game, rather than bravado.
