Hitting the deck is a key skill for pacers these days. Usually, batters struggle against the rising ball. Also, with the two-bouncer rule, such pacers are in demand. With the Impact Player rule, it is best if the enforcer used by the teams is an Indian. RCB were inclined towards this tactic last year. The management could do that again. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three hit-the-deck Indian pacers RCB can target in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions.
1) Avesh Khan
Avesh Khan had once played for RCB but it was at Delhi Capitals that he developed as a pacer. Later, at LSG and RR, as well, he did well. Last season, at Rajasthan Royals, Avesh Khan did a good job in collecting some wickets and leading the pace attack.
Quite a few teams would look at him as the leader of the Indian pace attack. Hence, he could be expensive. However, he will be a useful player, especially with his experience, age and his recent record of being fit for most of the games.
2) Kuldeep Sen
Kuldeep Sen is one of the hit-the-deck Indian pacers RCB can target in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions. After his breakthrough, despite playing for India, he has not got much chances in the IPL.
At a different franchise, things could change. Also, since his price is likely to be cheap, RCB can pick him as the third or the fourth Indian pacer. With the Impact Player rule still there, the management can find a good way to use him.
3) Prasidh Krishna
It has been two years since Prasidh Krishna has played in the IPL. Hence, his price may not be that high at the upcoming Mega Auctions.
In this regard, he could be a very decent target for RCB. Considering he is also a Bengaluru boy, the fans will also be pleased if he arrives at the Chinnaswamy for the next cycle.
