Paul Collingwood is one of the former players Delhi Capitals could target as the next Head Coach. It is surprising that despite being with the England setup for a long time, Paul is yet to get a permanent coaching role.
He has enough experience and it is now time for him to take his coaching career to the next level. If an IPL opportunity comes his way, he must grab it and look to do well. Delhi can also consider him as an option because of his experience.
2) JP Duminy
JP Duminy has gained experience as a coach in T20 Leagues. Currently, he is associated with the South African Cricket Team.
An IPL Head Coach opportunity is a big chance. Previously the skipper of the franchise, Duminy can be an interesting choice for the role. Hence, he is on this list.
3) Yuvraj Singh
Yuvraj Singh is yet to take up the role of a Head Coach. However, as a Mentor, he has been doing a fine job, especially when it comes to the rise of Abhishek Sharma. This proves that Yuvi can do well in a bigger role in the future.
His stature and legacy as a former Indian cricketer can be further increased if he takes up the role of a Head Coach. A prime captaincy candidate for India at one time, he never got the chance. As a coach, he can now prove his potential in a tactical role.
