3 former cricketers who strongly believe Virat Kohli will score 100 international centuries

It is absolutely no secret that Virat Kohli is the best all-format batsman in the world. India’s high-scoring machine has been in top-notch form at the moment. Earlier, he was long been slammed for his inconsistency in international cricket.
Although he played some impactful innings, he failed to score an international century for over three years. However, he ended his century drought by scoring his maiden T20I century against Afghanistan in the Asia Cup 2022. Since then, it uplifted his morale to a great extent.
Currently, Virat Kohli is second on the list of most centuries in international cricket. The former Indian captain scored 75 centuries in international cricket. However, three former cricketers strongly believe Virat Kohli will score 100 international centuries.
1. Suresh Raina
Virat Kohli has scored 28 centuries in Tests, 46 centuries in ODIs and 1 century in T20Is. He needs 25 more centuries to level Sachin Tendulkar’s legendary record of 100 international centuries.
Meanwhile, former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, in a recent chat with sports portal Sports Yaari added that Virat Kohli will surely equal Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 100 centuries in international cricket.
2. Ricky Ponting
Former Australian skipper Ricky Ponting has lauded Virat Kohli many times for his scintillating performances in international cricket. During an episode of ICC Review, Ponting said Virat Kohli has got the hunger and zeal for success before adding, “I’ll say, never say never with Virat that’s for sure”.
3. Harbhajan Singh
Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is one of the names that made a bold prediction about Virat Kohli. According to the Turbanator, Virat Kohli will not just score 100 international tons but will also go past his record since age and fitness are in favour of India’s run-scoring machine.
