Royal Challengers Bengaluru will look to have the duo of Will Jacks and Cameron Green back in the side. However, due to the auction dynamics, it will not be a surprise if both of these players do not end up at RCB again. In this regard, the franchise will have to have some alternative targets. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three foreign all-rounders RCB can target in IPL 2025 Auctions.
1) Mitchell Marsh (if released by Delhi Capitals)
Mitchell Marsh is one of the foreign all-rounders RCB can target in IPL 2025 Auctions. At Delhi, the priority is likely to be for Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, JFM and Tristan Stubbs. Hence, Marsh might not be retained by the side.
For RCB though, if he is fit, Marsh would be the ideal partner for Virat Kohli at the top. Plus, he can also be the skipper of the side. His presence would add a lot of balance to the side.
2) Liam Livingstone (if released by Punjab Kings)
If RCB cannot get back Will Jacks, they could go for Liam Livingstone, who is likely to be released by Punjab Kings. Liam can play in the top-order and can also operate as a finisher.
With the ball, on the tracks that aid him, Liam can turn the ball both into and away from the right-hander. The Chinnaswamy Stadium might also be very ideal for him to get back to form.
3) Wanindu Hasaranga (if released by Sunrisers Hyderabad)
RCB needs a proper spinner in the next cycle. Hence, they might go back for Wanindu Hasaranga, who is one of the best leg-spinners in the format.
Andy Flower and co. will have to find a way to get the best out of Wanindu’s batting skills. If that happens, he would be a serious option for the franchise.
