Babar Azam has been underwhelming as a skipper in the 2023 ODI World Cup. As a captain, he has failed to make crucial decisions and his body language has also been off the mark.
It would be better for both parties if Babar could resign from his captaincy. Pakistan does have some solid contenders. Babar is one of the best batters in the game right now. Pakistan would need this batter to come out on top and help his side win some trophies.
2) Pat Cummins
Pat Cummins is one of the captains who could get sacked after the 2023 ODI World Cup. The Australian skipper holds good respect and command in the dressing room. However, more than calling it a ‘sack’, Cummins could be relieved of his duties in the white-ball formats.
