When we talk about the Showcase of Immortals aka WrestleMania, the grandest event of all has always been marked by return of iconic names. From the Rock in earlier editions to Ric Flair, the names simply kept on getting bigger and bigger. With WrestleMania XL around the corner, this is going to be nothing different. Fans will be coming in spades and there is a huge possibility that WWE may also bring in wrestlers who are absent from the scene for a while.
So who can it be? The answers are many. The speculations are many. With the rumours flying left, right and center, from legends of the sport to the current superstars who have not been seen in action, the list simply gets bigger. However, talking practically, a few names stand out. Here are wo superstars who can return at WrestleMania XL.
#1 Malakai Black
With the untimely demise of Bray Wyatt, WWE is missing out on the dark angle. Despite Karrion Kross capable of pulling off such a dramatic storyline, it needs someone more enforcing and someone of unforgivable nature. Also, if he is one of the crowd favourites, the stakes keep on getting higher.
With that being said, Malakai Black who was formerly known as Aleister Black in WWE can be a perfect returnee. He is an adept wrestler and his entire grisly gimmick makes him someone to watch out for. Also his last appearance for AEW came way back in June 2022, almost close to two years. What are we waiting for?
#2 Dustin Rhodes
A lot of family is being invoked in this entire Bloodline battle and Golddust or Dustin Rhodes may possibly be on the return card for that night particularly to make the American Dream come true.
Again, knowing the fact that he is done with his wrestling days, he will play a guest starrer but then whenever he is out there and with his former relationship with the Rock being quite a stirrer amongst people’s emotions, WWE may hop onto that emotion. He is currently signed with AEW but then with WWE in the mix, you never know what happens next.
