Mumbai Indians is one of the teams which bid for Phil Salt in IPL 2025 Mega Auctions before RCB signed him. The team moved on from Ishan Kishan as the wicketkeeper.
They wanted Phil Salt. He would have been a solid upgrade for them at the top, especially at the Wankhede. However, they did not have the budget to spend too much on this position. Ryan Rickelton came at bthe ase price for the team.
