Faf du Plessis, who was captain of the Texas Super Kings, was one of the biggest disappointments in Major League Cricket. The South African cricketer was expected to make a big impact in the tournament but in what was the rarest of scenes he failed miserably and failed to get going in all the games he played. The Texas Super Kings skipper played 7 games in the league and failed to cross even the 50-run mark. He managed just 46 runs at an average of just over 6 and also had a poor strike rate of 85.18. His failure was one of the main reason team didn’t make it into the final.
