The Chinnaswamy surface didn’t help him as well as he was taken to the cleaners. His poor performance was the reason behind RCB struggling to take wickets in the middle over this season. During the second half of the season, he was even dropped from the team. Therefore, his performance might make team management make some bold decisions and release him. Even if they release him and pick a good Indian spinner in the team, they can then play two overseas pacers as well.
