WWE has been doing a phenomenal job of promoting the masked men from Mexico or let’s just say the Mexican wrestlers are finally hogging the limelight that they deserve. From Rey Mysterio to Andrade, from Carlito to Santos Escobar, this entire sage has now been blowing the expectations of the fans apart.
It started off with Dominik Mysterio being taken out of the equation and then pitting Rey Mysterio against him. Joining Rey and levelling the playing field was his partner from the LWO, Santos Escobar. But then none of them were expecting that Hunter would actually create an entire segment out of this.
From the return of Carlito, Andrade to making the entire storyline one of the major plots with the WWE Universe absolutely loving the development, the times have never been better for the Mexican wrestlers.
The LWO is a new faction of wrestlers rising in the WWE and despite the fact that this is not new under the banner as WCW also witnessed the LWO’s emergence but somehow that didn’t live up to its heightened expectations. Back in those days, a real life spat turned into a full-blown storyline between Eric Bischoff and Eddie Guerrero.
So what is the main ligature driving them all? It is the storyline. It is the creative that is being penned for them by Hunter. Whether rivalry or not, this faction has now got an active representation and with that the involvement of Rey Mysterio is making this even legendary.
The presence of Rey Mysterio is making this an active showdown for the younger wrestlers while guiding them with all the experience. Also the inclusion of Andrade, Carlito and Santos Escobar makes this quite a faction to be a part of. The villainy is on point and the counter measures are making this an absolute showdown to be cherished.
