Chennai Super Kings will have a fresh unit in IPL 2025. A few players are set to move on while the management will also look to prepare a squad for the future. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of three top performers in 2024 T20 WC whom CSK might target for IPL 2025.

1) Adam Zampa
CSK has not had a reliable leg-spinner for a while. This is one aspect they must work on in the coming auctions before IPL 2025.
Zampa would be an ideal choice in this regard. He has the relevant experience, variations and the necessary skills to do well at Chepauk for the Chennai Super Kings.
2) Quinton de Kock
Quinton de Kock is one of the top performers in 2024 T20 WC whom CSK might target for IPL 2025. He did not have a good start to the tournament. However, his form has picked up in the recent games.
Yes, his skills might not be impressive going by IPL 2024 but it needs to be noted that QDK is still 31 and can be an investment for the future. MS Dhoni is likely to retire and CSK would need a keeper. Hence, QDK can be an option at the top unless Devon Conway could take the gloves.
3) Anrich Nortje
Since his form was bad in IPL 2024, Delhi Capitals could release him. Anyways, the team has priorities in the other areas of the squad.
However, for CSK, Nortje would be the right fit. The team needs someone experienced to complement Matheesha Pathirana. The player needs to be useful at flat batting venues, as well. He must have pace and should be able to hit the deck hard. Nortje fits all the requirements.
