India A squad for the Emerging Teams Asia Cup is doing well at the moment. Interestingly, a few of the players in the setup do not have an IPL contract. 1) Nikin Jose
A localite from Karnataka, Nikin Jose has been impressive in domestic tournaments in the last year. Operating in the top order for India A, he has actually been decent. His technique has been strong and looks like he also has the temperament to do well on the big stage.
Of course, he has to work a lot on his T20 game if he has to excel in the IPL. RCB needs some youngsters in the setup to balance out the average age of the squad. The homegrown fans would be pleased with the inclusion of some local talents and Nikin falls in this bracket. Since RCB’s batting resources need some more options, Nikin would be a fine option for them.
2) Manav Suthar
Manav Suthar is one of the talented players from current India A squad whom RCB can target for IPL 2024. Shahbaz Ahmad could not help RCB’s spin department in IPL 2023. This is an area of concern for the franchise.
With the future in view, RCB could target the young Manav Suthar, who has been doing well in recent times. A slow left-arm spinner, Manav can also handle a role with the bat. The Rajasthan cricketer is young and has the experience of being a net bowler in IPL for Gujarat Titans. Hence, he is on this list.
