Shreyas Iyer led KKR to the title in IPL 2024. Due to the IPL 2025 Mega Auctions, this squad can get disturbed. Therefore, KKR might have to start from scratch again. The captain could also be involved in finding out some new players for the franchise. In the Duleep Trophy, Shreyas is the captain of India D. He can have a close look at some of the cricketers and recommend their names to the KKR management. Here, we take a look at the list of two players from Shreyas Iyer’s India D whom KKR can target for IPL 2025.

1) Vidwath Kaverappa
Vidwath Kaverappa was initially in the India A squad but was later moved to India D. He has been doing well at the domestic level for a while now. He impressed on his IPL debut, as well.
Vaibhav Arora is currently one of the new ball options for KKR. They can target Vidwath, as well, to add depth to this dimension of the side. Vidwath is also developing variations for the other phases of the game, which can further help him crack the T20 format.
2) Nishant Sindhu
Nishant Sindhu is one of the players from Shreyas Iyer’s India D whom KKR can target for IPL 2025. KKR did not have a frontline left-arm spinner in IPL 2024. Anukul Roy played in a few games but he was not used much. While KKR did win the title, this is an area they can improve.
KKR has done well in grooming talents in recent years. They could target CSK cricketer Nishant Sindhu, who is yet to make his IPL debut. He is a left-handed spin-bowling all-rounder, who did well for India U19 a few years ago. He has the potential to develop into an India cricketer and KKR can therefore target him.
