Bas de Leede is one of the players from associate nations who could be replacement signings in IPL 2024. The Dutch all-rounder turned a lot of heads with his performance in the 2023 ODI World Cup.
Yes, he might be raw for the highest level but he has the talent to do well. He is an all-rounder and some teams might need cricketers of this profile. Hence, it would not be a surprise if he lands an opportunity.
2) David Wiese (Namibia)
The former South African all-rounder, who currently plays for Namibia, was with the Kolkata Knight Riders setup in the last season. However, he did not get a lot of chances to prove himself and he was later released by the outfit. The veteran did not find any buyers at the IPL 2024 Auctions.
Nevertheless, it needs to be noted that Wiese is a versatile cricketer and could find takers as a replacement signing. His brute force allows him to be an excellent finisher while Wiese is also wily with his medium-pace bowling.
