International League T20 is struggling to hold popularity and preference amongst various other T20 leagues. SA20 is another popular league that happens at the same time. At times, players are joining the South African league because of various reasons. Some instances have also led to the ILT20 banning a few cricketers for not honouring their contracts. Despite the IPL owners being there in ILT20 also, these players could still do will in IPL 2025 Auctions. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two players banned in ILT20 but could get top bids in IPL 2025 Auctions.
Note: The list has been constituted considering both players could be released before the IPL 2025 Auctions.
1) Naveen-ul-Haq
Naveen-ul-Haq is one of the players banned in ILT20 but could get top bids in IPL 2025 Auctions. The Afghan pacer was banned for 20 months following the case where he did not honour his contract. He is unlikely to take part in the next season, as well.
For LSG, Naveen has been doing well. He is someone who can be relied upon in the endovers. In recent times, he has also done well with the new ball. If not as the lead overseas pacer, he will surely work as the backup or the second overseas pacer. Hence, many teams could line up.
2) Noor Ahmad
With Rashid Khan also there at Gujarat Titans, Noor may not be retained by GT. However, for him also, it could be a good choice because he could get a bigger salary if he goes under the hammer.
Noor is a teenage sensation and already has a lot of T20 experience. He is a wily left-arm leg-spinner and has already troubled some top batters. He is only going to get better and this is one of the main reasons why he could go for a big salary at the auctions.
