WWE PPV calendar year 2024 is almost ready. The company has planned many overseas shows for this year. They already traveled to Australia for Elimination Chamber, and later in the year, WWE will visit Saudi Arabia, Germany, France and Canada for other shows.
The confirmed WWE PPVs for the year 2024 include WrestleMania XL, Bash in Berlin, Backlash, Money in the Bank, SummerSlam and Survivor Series. There is still some vacant space in the year, which might see more premium live events added.
WWE did a great job with PLEs in 2023, but there were some shows like WWE Payback and WWE Fastlane disappointed the fans. Here’s a list of two forgotten PPVs which WWE should bring back in 2024 to make the year more exciting.
1. WWE should bring back TLC in 2024
Saudi Arabia generally hosts the Crown Jewel event in October or November. However, the other premium live event of Saudi Arabia has changed almost every year. So far, Super Showdown, Greatest Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and Night of Champions have happened in the gulf country.
Assuming that the fans of Saudi Arabia love extreme matches and nostalgic moments, WWE should bring back TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. The fans would love to see men and women of WWE compete in extreme stipulation matches on the show instead of just regular bouts.
2. Great Balls of Fire
Instead of generic names like Payback or Fastlane, which do not add any value or bring attention to the product, WWE should consider bringing a fancy name for a PLE. Great Balls of Fire was a show which happened only once in 2017, and fans have good memories of the show.
A similar event should take place in the year 2024 as well. WWE has the firepower on the roster to have another Great Balls of Fire show this year.
