England’s middle-order might need some valuable resources and Stokes would be the best fit here. Hence, he is one of the surprising candidates to come into the squad.
2) Will Jacks
Currently, Adil Rashid and Moeen Ali are set to form the spin attack for England. Liam Livingston and Joe Root will probably support them as part-time spinners. Someone like Rehan Ahmed can be picked as Rashid’s backup. However, one interesting candidate whom England can also select is Will Jacks.
