2 CSK players who were picked in the BBL 2025/26 draft

Chennai Super Kings had a tough run in IPL 2025. Nevertheless, there is spark in the side to do well in the future. Some of the current players are also doing well in various other leagues. Playing often in such leagues would give them confidence to do well for CSK in IPL 2026, provided they are retained. Here, we take a look at the list of two CSK players who were picked in the BBL 2025/26 draft.

1) Sam Curran

While he did not do well in t he initial games, Sam Curran

made amends with a strong finish to his campaign. Batting at No.3, he showed everyone why he is rated so highly. With the ball, as well, he executed his variations well. Now, he was one of the main picks for the Sydney Sixers. He will play alongside the likes of Babar Azam and Steve Smith in the upcoming season.

2) Jamie Overton was picked in the BBL 2025/26 draft

The Adelaide Strikers will have the services of Jamie Overton for the next season. Jamie played in a few matches for CSK but could not leave an impression. Nevertheless, he has always been a fine T20 all-rounder. BBL will suit his style and hence, we can expect a better show.
