2 changes RCB could make for their next game against SRH

Royal Challengers Bangalore have no choice but to keep going in the ongoing edition of IPL 2024. Fans have now accepted that this season is done. However, RCB has a chance to play party spoilers and can also provide some opportunities to the youngsters. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two changes RCB could make for their next game against SRH.

1) Manoj Bhandage for Mahipal Lomror

Mahipal Lomror started IPL 2024 on a good note. However, he has been struggling since then. Against KKR, had he spent a few more overs at the crease, RCB would have easily won the game. However, he lost the battle to Sunil Narine.

Manoj Bhandage has been on the bench for almost two seasons now. In the domestic events, he has done well. Hence, it is a bit of a surprise that he is yet to get a chance in the IPL. Now that RCB has nothing to loose, they can probably give him a chance to express himself.

2) Alzarri Joseph for Lockie Ferguson

Alzarri Joseph for Lockie Ferguson is one of the changes RCB could make for their next game against SRH. In RCB’s previous encounter against SRH, Lockie Ferguson could not do well. He did not offer a threat. Hence, may be, RCB could look for a different combination against SRH. Hence, they could consider handing a comeback to West Indian speedster Alzarri Joseph.

Alzarri can also be expensive but if he gets going, he could be hard to handle with his pace and back-of-length deliveries. RCB could rely on this and give a chance to Alzarri. It is a risky move but the other options such as Reece Topley and Tom Curran are also not that great in the middle phase of the game. Hence, this change is on the cards.
