Against Rajasthan Royals, it was the batting department that failed to step up for Mumbai Indians. The team needs some serious inspiration and fortunately, they have a small break now to find it. The management could also be in line to make a few changes. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two changes Mumbai Indians could make for their next game against Delhi Capitals.
1) Vishnu Vinod for Naman Dhir
It was a surprise that Mumbai Indians started the season with Naman Dhir. However, right from the first game, it was clear why MI backed him. Naman looked to be a good talent and hence, he justified his selection. However, it appears that he might want to pick some more experience at the domestic level to perform consistently.
Vishnu Vinod has been around for quite some time now. He is an experienced player and also did well for the franchise in a few games last season. With Suryakumar Yadav not yet fit, MI could need some experience in the middle-order. Hence, the Kerala batter could be a good choice to be a part of the XI.
2) Mohammad Nabi for Dewald Brevis
Mohammad Nabi for Dewald Brevis is one of the changes Mumbai Indians could make for their next game against Delhi Capitals. Dewald Brevis got a few games this season. However, he is yet to leave a mark. The management might lose patience with him and hence, they could go with Mohammad Nabi in the next games.
With Nabi coming in as the finisher, Hardik Pandya could move up the order. This would add more balance to the batting order. Also, Nabi is a good off-spinner and he would aid Piyush Chawla in the spin department. Not to mention, Nabi has played many T20 games and he would bring in a lot of experience to the side.
