2 changes KKR could make for their next game against LSG

Kolkata Knight Riders suffered their first loss of the season against Chennai Super Kings. Although it is not a worrying sign as of now, the team would still be keen to correct the mistakes going forward. Hence, the management might make a few changes for the next game against Lucknow Super Giants. Here, we take a look at the list of two changes KKR could make for their next game against LSG.

1) Suyash Sharma for Anukul Roy

Suyash Sharma for Anukul Roy is one of the changes KKR could make for their next game against LSG. It is surprising that the young Suyash Sharma is yet to get a chance so far. This is despite him being the best bowler in the recent Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

Having a leg-spinner in the squad is always an advantage. They get you wickets when you really want to break a partnership. Suyash is a talented cricketer and he showed his skills last season. Yes, Anukul Roy has also been decent but he is yet to firmly cement his place in the playing XI. Hence, it is time that Suyash gets a chance.

2) Nitish Rana (if fit) for Ramandeep Singh

There is still some time to go for KKR’s next game. The management will want Nitish Rana to get fit at the earliest. He was supposed to be the glue in the middle order but his absence is creating some problems for the franchise.

LSG has some good spinners and it is not best to expose the likes of Rinku Singh early. Hence, the coaching staff will be keen to have Nitish Rana in the middle order. Being a left-hander, he can go after the likes of Krunal Pandya and Ravi Bishnoi, as well. This would give a big advantage to the team against LSG.
