Gujarat Titans lost the game against LSG on Saturday. It is a wake-up call for them to fix a few balance issues. On that note, here, we take a look at the list of two changes Gujarat Titans must make for their next game in IPL 2025.
1) Mahipal Lomror for Washington Sundar
Yes, Washington Sundar did do well with the bat, but he can be very inconsistent. Also, his main job is with the ball, and it appears that the GT management wants to use him only for matchups.
In this regard, it would be better to have someone like Mahipal in the playing XI. He offers power against the spinners and if needed, he can also provide a bit of left-arm spin.
2) Gerald Coetzee for Arshad Khan is one of the changes the Gujarat Titans can make
It is surprising that GT is making use of just three foreigners. Unless Coetzee is injured, there is no reason why he must not be a part of the playing XI.
On his day, Coetzee can single-handedly win the game for his side. He also adds value with the bat in the lower order. Arshad Khan also does well but Coetzee comes in with international experience.
