2 AEW Superstars Who Can Shockingly Appear At WWE WrestleMania XL

The spotlight is slowly moving away from AEW as WrestleMania XL is fast approaching. WWE will present its biggest event of the year on April 6 and 7. The host of this year’s WrestleMania show is the Lincoln Financial Field of Philadelphia.

WWE has already announced a host of star-studded matches for WrestleMania XL. While even AEW does grand pay-per-view events, there is always a lack of surprise element in their shows since the last few months.

On the other side, WWE opts for an unpredictable approach, which keeps the fans guessing of what will happen next. Not many fans expect a major debut or return at WrestleMania XL, but here’s a list of two AEW Superstars who can shockingly appear at the Showcase of Immortals.

1. Current AEW Superstar Matt Hardy can return at WrestleMania XL

Matt Hardy is a WWE legend. The former multi-time tag team champion has had a frustrating run in AEW so far. Even his brother Jeff Hardy has had a forgettable run, but Jeff still has some time on his contract.

If Matt decides against renewing his contract with AEW, he can return to his home, WWE. Matt has made a triumphant return at WrestleMania in the past. It will be interesting to see if he is able to do it again in 2024. The WWE legend was spotted at a recent RAW episode.

2. Dustin Rhodes

Cody Rhodes is in a war with The Bloodline right now. The American Nightmare has received the backing of Seth Rollins in his battle against Roman Reigns and The Rock. However, The Bloodline still has Solo Sikoa, who needs to be taken care of.

Assuming WWE and AEW work out a special deal for just one night, Cody’s real-life brother Dustin Rhodes can make a shocking return to WWE and help Cody become the new WWE Undisputed Universal Champion.

Vinay

Vinay Chhabria is a cricket and WWE enthusiast who supports Roman Reigns and Gujarat Titans. He has been following cricket for the last 15 years and WWE since 2016.
